When you print on the material, the label can be put under water and rubbed without smearing. It can be printed in desktop black and white or color laser printers and The clear acrylic adhesive is permanent on many surfaces. It has a minimum application temperature of 10°F and a service temperature range of -40°F or lower to over 300°F (limited to melt temperature of vinyl Facestock 302°F - 446°F), making it very versatile for cold or hot environment usage, such as a heat room or refrigerated warehouse. This material is RoHS compliant and there is no indication that the Facestock contains DEHP.
102600 was designed for chemical drum and other applications in harsh environments and can be applied to a wide variety of wet or dry surfaces.
This label material also has been used in special cryogenic label applications down to - 80°C to -196°C in nitrogen liquid phase applications by our customers. It has been tested down to nitrogen liquid phase to -196°C and been reported to work. Because this testing was not done within our control, we ask that you test this yourself to determine if it will work for your extreme low temperature applications. This durable vinyl material features a special water-based matte topcoat that offers excellent toner anchorage and printability. An aggressive permanent acrylic adhesive with excellent clarity, high initial tack, high shear and ultimate adhesion make it suitable for application to a wide variety of surfaces. Applied labels will be resistant to water, mild acids, bases, salts, most petroleum based oils, greases and aliphatic solvents. The kraft liner gives a controlled release.

- Flexible, top-coated white vinyl for excellent dry laser toner anchorage (Not Thermal Transfer Ribbon compatible).

Note: For best bonding conditions, application surface should be at or above minimum application temperature. Low temperature surfaces, below +10F can cause the adhesive to become so firm that it will not develop maximum contact with the substrate. Higher initial bonds can be achieved through increased rubdown pressure. In order to get a true measure of the adhesive's effectiveness, the label should be applied and allowed to bond a minimum of 24 hours prior to evaluation.
